Walk into any well-assorted bakery in Germany and you will likely find at least two or three poppy seed filled cakes or pastries. This buttery loaf has a soft poppy seed filling and dabs of my homemade plum jam with gingerbread spice. It is topped with an Amaretto glazing (can also be skipped and substituted with a powdered sugar glaze). This Poppy Seed Twisted Bread has become a favorite with friends and family in no time!
